Directions to the Metro-Central YMCA, Toronto, from Union Station

The Metro Central YMCA is located two blocks north of College Street, between Yonge Street and Bay Street.

From Union Station:

1. Upon exiting the GO Train or VIA platforms, find the exit which leads to the subway
2. Enter the subway
3. Take the Yonge train Northbound to College Station

Note: the subway lines make a "u" at Union Station; thus, from the Union Station subway platform, trains going in either direction are heading northbound (see map below). On the subway platform, look for:

• signs indicating "Yonge northbound" (not "University northbound")
• signs indicating "next station, King" (not "next station St. Andrew")
• the subway train itself should have a sign on the front which says "Finch" (not "Downsview")

From the subway:

1. Get off the subway at College Station.
2. At the exit turnstiles, take the left exit to College Street.
3. At the food court, turn left and go up the escalator.
4. At the top of the escalator, turn right and exit to Yonge Street.
5. On Yonge Street, turn left and walk north (you should cross the College/Carlton intersection and pass Starbucks).
6. Grosvenor Street is two blocks north of College Street on the west (left) side of Yonge Street.
7. On Grosvenor Street, you will see the YMCA ahead on your right.
